NativaLand was created and exist with the purpose of supporting farmers all over Europe and other regions in increasing the productivity, quality and diversity of their sweet potato crops.
We do that by representing and giving farmers access to some of the best licensed sweet potato varieties in the world and by maintaining a clean stock program dedicated to sweet potato production support.
The licensed varieties were developed by the Louisiana State University, in USA, which is a strong partner of our company
NativaLand is a company created in 2016, benefiting from the founders’ accumulated experience of more than 50 years in agriculture and management.
The company is based in Portugal and having also part of its operations in Ireland. Our field is in Muge, 65 km Northeast of Lisbon, one of the main agriculture regions of Portugal. From there we supply a diversified range of high quality, sweet potato plants to growers located all over Europe and other regions.
We invest permanently in innovation, research and development, by ourselves or together with our partners, by testing and improving new sweet potato genetic lines, selecting carefully the ones that will come finally to the market as new varieties, able to tackle different market segments. By supplying new, clean and diversified quality plant material to farmers NativaLand will be a main contributor and driver for of the European sweet potato production.
We do our best to support our clients in their choice of the best sweet potato varieties for their farms, in establishing their production processes, in providing technical advice during the production phase and, when justified, in introducing them to potential buyers.
