Sweet Potato

Burgundy

EU 51935
Ipomoea batatas Burgundy is a new and astoundingly flavoursome variety. It has deep orange flesh, a red skin and is very consistent in shape. But the most amazing thing is the sugar content in baked ‘Burgundy’ roots - it is nearly twice as high as in Beauregard. In the words of some who have tasted it “its simply AWESOME”. Chefs are loving it and growers will be glad to hear that it’s a variety that is easy to grow, has attractive foliage and high flavour straight out of the ground.
